Job Summary

As a Medical Office Coordinator with Health Careers in Sask, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a communication link between clients, physicians, and the Saskatchewan Health Authority, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care and wait times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor program data quality and maintain accurate records
  • Provide information and referral services to clients and patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care
  • Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient information
  • Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals
Requirements
  • 12 months of experience working in a medical office environment
  • Experience utilizing medical terminology
  • Office Administration certificate
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, interpersonal skills, communication skills, and organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
Competencies
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license, where required by job
