About the Role:

Steelcase is seeking a highly skilled National Healthcare Business Development Manager to drive business growth and be an expert within the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive key wins in the contract healthcare furniture industry.
  • Stay abreast of healthcare trends and identify opportunities to apply Steelcase's research and insights to help customers solve problems.
  • Develop deep business relationships with dealers' healthcare customers and key influencers to secure product specifications and close profitable sales.
  • Manage through distribution and longer, complex selling cycles.
  • Act as a designated design, technical or learning product expert as needed, and act as a coach/mentor for others to ensure market/account plans are executed and business is secured.

About You:

  • Strategic thinker adept at influencing stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • High-energy & smart with demonstrated bias for execution, speed, and accomplishment.
  • Curious, consultative seller demonstrating understanding about client's issues.
  • Team player while demonstrating leadership and influencing abilities.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and willing to accept responsibility for results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Design, Sales, Business, Real Estate, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of sales experience selling to healthcare clients or the A&D community.
