About Kindred Hospital Ontario
Kindred Hospital Ontario is seeking a driven and compassionate Healthcare Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in connecting patients with the specialized care they need by building strong relationships with referral sources and managing the admissions process.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to expand our patient base within assigned territories.
- Identify and cultivate new referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine eligibility for admission to Kindred Hospital Ontario.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and referral sources to provide clear information about our services and benefits.
- Manage the admissions process efficiently and effectively, ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing referral sources through regular communication and engagement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare business development.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in marketing, communication, healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in healthcare sales or clinical healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clinical license preferred (Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Respiratory Therapist (RT)).
