Bass Pro Shops is seeking an experienced Department Head and Sales Leader to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, sales, and merchandising skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a specialized merchandise department, responsible for growing sales and providing exceptional customer service. They will develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement, drive sales, and optimize inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives
  • Lead a team of Outfitters to deliver world-class customer service and operational excellence
  • Manage inventory levels, pricing, and sales enhancements to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless store operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in retail management, with a focus on sales and merchandising
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to obtain a Possession and Acquisition License (PAL)
