About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Service Advisor to join our team at Wiseworth Canada Industries. As a key member of our service operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our service delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Schedule planned maintenance visits to customer sites
    • Coordinate the ordering of service parts required for repairs and planned maintenance
    • Verify replenishment of technician truck stock
  • Service Parts Management
    • Monitor stocking levels for all branch locations and satellite service personnel
    • Track critical parts orders for all service work that is in progress
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support with the quoting of planned maintenance agreements
    • Support the company's workplace health and safety program
  • Customer Communication
    • Direct communication with customers and coworkers face-to-face, over the phone, or via email
    • Respond professionally to customers - phone calls, emails, face-to-face
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical support and assistance to customers and technicians as needed
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma mandatory. Post-secondary diploma or certificate is preferred
  • Experience
    • Minimum two years of customer service operations experience preferred
  • Skills
    • Professional communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
    • Strong technical writing skills, with experience preparing technical sales quotations/proposals
    • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a cohesive team
    • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
    • Accountability and sense of urgency
    • Technical aptitude and basic comprehension of technical manuals, parts manuals, equipment maintenance schedules
    • Accuracy and attention to detail in handling frequent paperwork and documentation processes
    • Tech savvy, with operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with computers
  • Other
    • No criminal record
    • High level of integrity and ethical values
    • Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in previous 5 years
