Job Title: Technical Service AdvisorAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Advisor to join our team at Wiseworth Canada Industries Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta. As a Technical Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the service operations team and providing technical assistance to customers and field technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Planned Maintenance Visits: Coordinate with customers and field technicians to schedule planned maintenance visits, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available.
  • Quoting Follow-Up Service Work: Prepare and submit quotations for follow-up service work, including all necessary documentation and pricing information.
  • Service Parts Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of service parts, ensuring that all necessary parts are available for field technicians.
  • Ordering Service Parts: Coordinate the ordering of service parts, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory levels.
  • Verifying Replenishment of Technician Truck Stock: Verify the replenishment of technician truck stock, ensuring that all necessary parts and equipment are available for field technicians.
  • Service Parts Identification and Support: Provide technical support and assistance to field technicians in identifying and ordering service parts.
  • Tracking Critical Parts Orders: Track critical parts orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory levels.
  • Providing Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the service operations team, including data entry, document preparation, and communication with customers and field technicians.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma: High school diploma is mandatory, with a post-secondary diploma or certificate preferred.
  • Customer Service Operations Experience: Minimum two years of customer service operations experience is preferred.
  • Effective Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong technical writing skills, with experience preparing technical sales quotations/proposals.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to develop and maintain harmonious relationships with a wide variety of people.
  • Time-Management and Organizational Skills: Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Tech savvy, with operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with computers.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in the previous 5 years.
