About the Role:

This position requires strong organizational, communication, and time management skills to manage multiple tasks independently. You will be responsible for preparing contract documents, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Prepare and review contract documents, coordinate with project teams, and ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Site Reviews: Conduct regular site reviews to ensure compliance with contract documents and building codes.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor construction progress, prepare progress draws, and ensure substantial completion.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and attend regular construction meetings with contractors and owners.

You will be working closely with our design team, sub-consultants, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, as well as a deep understanding of building codes and construction procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the AIBC (Association of Interior Designers of British Columbia) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural contract administration experience across various project types.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and construction procedures.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
