Job Title: Administrative Coordinator - Island Home Furniture

At B.C. Ltd. DBA Island Home Furniture, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating office administrative procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to manage our administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including preparing reports, manuals, and correspondence
- Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in an administrative role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business administration or related field an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and Windows

Working Conditions:

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
