About the Role

The Administrative Services Manager is responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, reviewing and evaluating existing ones, and delegating tasks to office support staff. You will establish work priorities, ensure procedures are followed, and meet deadlines while overseeing and coordinating office administrative procedures.

This role also involves administering policies related to record release, coordinating office services, planning budget and expenditures, and monitoring performance. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and coaching opportunities for various groups, including persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff to optimize workload and expertise
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed to meet deadlines
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Administer policies related to record release to ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Coordinate office services, such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to achieve financial goals
  • Monitor and evaluate performance to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
