About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Manager to join our team at Oakridge Landscape Contractors. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of projects, ensuring that specifications are met, work is completed on schedule and within budget, and customer satisfaction is maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and participate in daily and weekly scheduling meetings to ensure project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with Estimators, Construction Superintendents, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage the Junior Project Coordinator, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and manage sub-trades, purchase materials, and complete project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain and manage all administrative documentation generated on projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in Job Kick Off Meetings to ensure project objectives are clearly understood and communicated.
  • Liaise with clients to address their needs and concerns, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Track and control construction schedules and associated costs to achieve project completion within time and budget.
  • Review project progress regularly, identifying and addressing any cost, labor, or material overruns promptly.
Requirements
  • Construction Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering Technician Certificate/Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand elevations.
  • Previous landscape experience is essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Work Pro, Auto Cad, Microsoft Project Manager, and Adobe Reader.
  • Valid driver's license and clean abstract.
