Objective:
The Assistant Manager for Residential Properties, working under the guidance of a Senior Property Manager, Regional Manager, or Director of Operations, will oversee a portfolio of residential units. The role is focused on ensuring efficient operations while delivering exceptional customer service to both residents and property owners. Adherence to safety standards and high-quality service is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration:
    Contribute actively to team goals and objectives, sharing responsibility for projects and fostering a collaborative decision-making environment.
  • Staff Oversight:
    Supervise administrative and operational staff within the assigned properties, ensuring effective performance management.
  • Customer Relations:
    Uphold the highest standards of customer service for residents and owners, addressing concerns promptly and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Administrative Duties:
    Oversee the timely collection and reconciliation of rent, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Manage vendor invoices and rental applications, and prepare comprehensive management reports.
  • Property Maintenance:
    Ensure compliance with property management standards, conducting inspections and coordinating maintenance work to uphold property quality.

Reporting Structure:
Report directly to the Senior Property Manager or Regional Manager, collaborating closely with other property management professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    High School diploma required; preference for candidates with a college degree or industry designation.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of two years in residential property management or a related field is essential.
  • Skills:
    Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are necessary, along with a commitment to customer service and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Additional Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates must be willing to be on call and work flexible hours.
