Residential Project Coordinator

The Residential Manager will work closely with the President to ensure the successful planning and execution of projects. They will lead all phases of the construction project, including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, work is proceeding on schedule and within budget, and maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in daily and weekly scheduling meetings to ensure project progress.
- Communicate regularly with Estimators, Construction Superintendents, and clients to ensure effective project management.
- Manage the Junior Project Coordinator to ensure tasks, directions, and assigned projects are kept on track, followed up, and reported effectively.
- Hire sub-trades, purchase materials, and complete the daily and weekly project schedule.
- Maintain and manage all administrative documentation generated on projects.
- Conduct site visits as needed to ensure project progress.
- Set up projects and participate in Job Kick Off Meetings to ensure a smooth start.
- Liaise with clients when needed to ensure their satisfaction.
- Attend site meetings with clients, architects, engineers, etc. as required, and maintain excellent working relationships.
- Track and control construction schedule and associated costs to achieve project completion within time and budget.
- Review project progress regularly, identifying and addressing cost, labor, and material overruns promptly.
- Review project costs vs. planned costs and report to the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Must have a Construction Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering Technician Certificate / Degree, or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand elevations is essential.
- Previous landscape experience is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Work Pro, Auto Cad, Microsoft Project Manager, and Adobe Reader.
- Valid driver's license and clean abstract required.
