We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our Patient Safety, Quality & Risk team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Triage and Response: Effectively manage and prioritize patient and family concerns and complaints through timely and empathetic responses.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document and report patient and family compliments and concerns, providing valuable insights for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with various departments, including Occupational Health & Safety, clinical and support staff, finance, and facility/equipment, to address patient care issues and promote best practices.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, both verbally and in writing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as demonstrated understanding of Health Quality Ontario's (HQO) Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Familiarity with relevant legislation and legal frameworks, including Patients First Act, Public Hospitals Act, Excellent Care For All Act, and others.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
