Expert Psychiatric Consultant for Employee Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist Consultant to join our team at 3sHealth. As a key member of our Employee Benefits department, you will play a vital role in providing expert consulting services to support the administration of disability income plan benefits.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing disability claims, preparing medical opinions, and collaborating with our team to ensure accurate and fair assessments of claims. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement policies and procedures related to psychiatric disability claims, stay updated on the latest developments in psychiatry and disability benefits, and participate in case reviews and provide input on claim decisions.
Responsibilities- Review disability claims and prepare medical opinions to assist our Employee Benefits team in processing such claims.
- Collaborate with other medical consultants and benefits administrators to ensure accurate and fair assessment of disability claims.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to psychiatric disability claims.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in psychiatry and disability benefits to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Participate in case reviews and provide input on claim decisions.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical information and make sound judgments.
