About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our Regina team. As a key stakeholder to multiple mill Superintendents, General Supervisors and all first line leaders, this role requires exceptional collaboration skills and a proven ability to build strong productive relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees and members of management, exercising considerable judgment and discretion in these interactions.
  • Collaborate with the business to develop a strong HR Business Partner relationship with the operations team, ensuring alignment with the execution of the business strategy.
  • Ensure the facility is developing and maintaining a robust and sustainable talent pipeline around technical positions, driving cultural change towards a collaborative environment.
  • Develop, manage, and enhance training and development programs to support employee growth and development, as well as provide consultative support to management on policy application and procedures.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, management or a related field, along with designation of CPHR or IPMA (International Personal Management Association).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a strong human resources business partnership with operations teams.
  • Experience administering Labour Relations activities, including collective agreement administration, grievance management, collective bargaining, union/management relations, performance management, and conflict resolution processes.
  • Comfort working in a heavy industrial mill/manufacturing environment, with organized, communicative, and confidential handling of information.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary of $120,000-$150,000 per annum, based on experience.
