CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for executing daily HR tasks, guiding HR technicians, clerks, and interns, and providing exceptional support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Post job openings and analyze resumes and cover letters to identify top candidates for phone screenings and interviews.
- Complete hiring documents and track employee probation periods.
- Conduct exit interviews and complete termination documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and refer complex issues to relevant personnel.
- Support managers by answering their questions, providing documents, and reports.
- Maintain employee records and develop, administer, and update HR management tools (staffing, training, SST, disciplinary measures).
- Plan, organize, and execute HR-related activities.
- Coordinate training activities.
- Produce various documents and communications.
- Write disciplinary measures.
- Participate in SST committee activities, meetings, and follow-ups.
- Participate in workplace accident investigations and follow up with injured employees, collect medical reports, and complete various CNESST documents.
- Track and manage CNESST absences and invalidities.
- Maintain SST follow-up and statistics tables.
- Communicate information to relevant parties.
- University degree in HR, RT, or RI.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel between sites as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Quebec labor laws.
- Fluency in French. Functional English. Spanish is an asset.
