About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development to join our team at Bédard Ressources. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's human resources management strategy and contributing to the development of a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Foster a Positive Work Culture: Develop and implement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work culture that supports employee well-being and engagement.
  2. Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive human resources management strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  3. HR Program Development: Design and implement various HR programs and policies to support employee development, retention, and recruitment.
  4. Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  5. Recruitment and Selection: Participate in the recruitment process, ensuring that the company attracts and selects top talent.
  6. Benefits and Compensation: Develop and revise the company's benefits plan to ensure it remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the company's compliance with provincial laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  8. Health and Safety: Coordinate health and safety management, including relations with the prevention mutual and CNESST.
  9. Administrative Support: Supervise administrative aspects of HR, including certificates, employee records, and communication distribution.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  2. Certification: Membership in the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP or CIRA) is an asset.
  3. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Director of Human Resources or in a similar position.
  4. Language: Proficiency in French, both oral and written.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office suite.
