Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager, Retail Distribution role is responsible for providing leadership and sales support to the retail distribution channel in the assigned region. This includes creating and managing relationships with the distribution channel, providing ongoing sales support, and working with product delivery groups to establish requirements for sales tools and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet annual growth and retention targets
  • Provide sales support to the distribution channel, including product training and sales tools
  • Work with product delivery groups to establish requirements for sales tools and training
  • Identify and provide product-specific training to sales staff
  • Provide sales support for national sales campaigns and programs
  • Work with other functional groups to develop sales and support tools, growth and retention targets
  • Coordinate requirements across PCG and P&C channels for new product development

Requirements

  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial planning or branch management
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • IFIC or CSC certification, PFP or CFP or CIM or FCSI or CFA an asset
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and markets
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of competitive marketplace and trends in Retail Investments Product offerings
  • In-depth knowledge of Bank products, services, organization, and Banking Group interrelationships
