About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to provide leadership and deliver sales support initiatives to drive growth and profitability in our assigned region. As the ground-level sales support for Retail Investments in the Retail Channel, you'll be accountable for ongoing sales effectiveness of our products in the area.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Create and manage relationships with our retail distribution channel partners to ensure optimum representation of our products.
  2. Provide ongoing sales support to our retail distribution channel partners.
  3. Work with our Product Delivery Groups to establish requirements for sales tools, training, and process development to execute against our sales delivery strategy.
  4. Identify and provide product-specific training when appropriate to our sales force.
  5. Support national sales campaigns and programs for Retail Investments.
  6. Collaborate with other functional groups to provide feedback and recommendations on the development of sales and support tools, growth, and retention targets.
  7. Coordinate requirements across PCG and P&C channels for bringing new ideas for new products, services, and process development to our Director, National Sales.
Key Qualifications
  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning or Branch Management, along with a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of IFIC or CSC; having PFP, CFP, CIM, FCSI, or CFA certifications is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and markets.
  • Sales strategies and competitive marketplace trends in Retail Investments Product offerings.
  • Bank products, services, organization, and Banking Group interrelationships.

BMO Financial Group offers a comprehensive total compensation package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans. Our salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, with commissions available for certain positions. For this role, the estimated salary range is $64,600 - $119,700 annually, paid on a salaried basis.
