About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Network Lead to join our team in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience as a Network Admin/Engineer installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. Previous experience leading and executing complex network projects is required.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Cisco and Palo Alto.
- Lead and execute complex network projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Manage wireless networks, including Cisco Meraki and HP Aruba.
- Support Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.), and redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP).
- Manage network security, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Troubleshoot network issues and resolve connectivity problems.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- 8+ years of experience as a Network Admin/Engineer.
- Previous experience leading and executing complex network projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Charter offers competitive benefits, including flights and accommodations for remote rotations.
