IT Network Engineering Lead

At Charter, we are seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to lead our network infrastructure team in Iqaluit, Nunavut. As a seasoned professional with 8+ years of experience, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network infrastructure using Cisco, Palo Alto, and other technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute complex network projects from planning to deployment
  • Configure and manage network protocols, security features, and wireless networks
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless integration and support
  • Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures
  • Troubleshoot network issues and resolve connectivity problems

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Network Admin/Engineer with expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, and other technologies
  • Proven track record of leading and executing complex network projects
  • Experience managing wireless networks, network security, and redundancy protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Authorized to work in Canada

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience
  • Flights and accommodations provided for remote rotation
  • Strong possibility of extension after the initial 1-year term
