Overview:

Charter, a leading IT Infrastructure Solution Provider, is seeking an experienced IT Network Lead to join our team. As a seasoned professional with 8+ years of experience in network administration and engineering, you will play a critical role in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network infrastructure.

About the Role:

This position requires strong leadership skills, as you will be responsible for leading and executing complex network projects. Your expertise in managing wireless networks, supporting Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, and configuring routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) will be essential in ensuring seamless connectivity. Additionally, you will manage network security, including firewalls and VPNs, and troubleshoot network issues to resolve connectivity problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute complex network projects, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Manage wireless networks, including Cisco Meraki and HP Aruba, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP).
  • Configure network security, including firewalls and VPNs, to protect against potential threats.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, resolve connectivity problems, and document network configurations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with 3rd-party vendors to ensure smooth network operations.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in network administration and engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading and executing complex network projects.
  • Expertise in managing wireless networks, including Cisco Meraki and HP Aruba.
  • Experience in supporting Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
