Job Title: Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds
  • Recommend and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
  • Log and report maintenance activities, including repairs and potential issues
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
Requirements:
  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous experience working in a maintenance role is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift heavy objects. You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors, and may be exposed to hazardous materials and chemicals.
