Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings, equipment, and grounds
  • Identify and recommend repairs or maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures
  • Log repairs, notes, and reports potential or new repairs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a preventative maintenance program
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a maintenance team environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in extreme outside weather conditions
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
