Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Beaver Bank Station. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food and Supply Management
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Team Supervision
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate and timely food preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and operational metrics to inform business decisions.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct staff.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
