About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Analysis and Management

Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to boost profits.

Operational Excellence

Evaluate daily restaurant operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Staff Performance Management

Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure high standards are met.

Inventory Management

Oversee inventory levels, manage stock, and implement systems to minimize waste and optimize supply chain efficiency.

Customer Service

Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and providing a positive dining experience.

Marketing and Promotion

Participate in marketing initiatives, develop promotional plans, and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and implement procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, provide guidance and support, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficient in MS Office, MS Access, and other relevant software applications.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Schedule

30 to 35 hours per week.
