About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Beaver Bank Station. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bar Operations
    • Arrange the bar area to create visually appealing displays
    • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware
    • Recommend wine and drink selections to customers
    • Process payments and manage cash, credit, and debit transactions
    • Order and manage bar stock, including inventory control
    • Enforce liquor legislation and regulations
  • Customer Service
    • Take beverage orders from serving staff and patrons
    • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, and beer
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with serving staff to ensure seamless service
  • Security and Safety
    • Undergo a criminal record check
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment withstanding for extended periods
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate client-focused and efficient interpersonal skills
    • Be organized, reliable, and a team player
    • Exhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Experience and Education
    • Hold a secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
