Senior Civil Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Designer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in the successful completion of land development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of drawings and calculations for land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Collaborate with project engineers and managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Perform site development tasks, including grading, servicing, stormwater management, and sediment and erosion control.
- Assist in quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and specification preparation for projects.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure project integrity and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Technical degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Civil Designer role working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, including grading, servicing, road profile design, and storm and sanitary sewer design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and building programs.
