**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Estimator to join our team at 3 Step Recruitment Inc. as a key member of our estimating department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Oversee tender closings and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis to provide accurate estimates.
  • Prepare estimates for various facets of civil works, including infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Coordinate and manage requests for quotations (RFQs) for subtrades and suppliers.
  • Define scope of work for all trades involved in a project.
  • Conduct pre-tender site visits to assess project requirements.
  • Prepare tender documents and prequalification submissions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, preferably in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) sector.
  • Prior experience in estimating for civil works projects, including infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
