Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor-Continuing to join our team at School District #39 (Vancouver). As a Counsellor-Continuing, you will provide support to students in elementary and secondary schools, working closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counselling services to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support student success, including academic and personal goal setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Counselling or a related field.
  • Experience working with students in elementary and secondary schools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
