About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Finance Expertise Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our accounting and finance department, you will provide expertise in commodity and withholding taxes, overseeing reconciliations, and processing payment requests.
You will work closely with multiple departments, governmental bodies, and external consultants on audit, serving as the main point of contact for any issues and providing insight for resolutions. Your analytical skills will be essential in analyzing reports and providing recommendations to enhance business processes and systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and finance to apply their knowledge and skills to drive efficiency and precision in our operations.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- At least 1 year of experience in an Accounting/Finance role completing bank reconciliations.
- A college or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- High proficiency with MS Excel.
- Experience with SAP is required, and SAP S4HANA is highly preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in-progress is an asset.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, plus discretionary bonuses. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan.
