Clinical Lead

About This Role:
The Clinical Lead will provide expert supervision to Nurses in the community, ensuring the delivery of safe, quality, and ethical care. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, knowledge of community nursing practice, and experience leading a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Nurses to ensure practices comply with legislated standards and company policies.
- Respond to concerns from community staff, patients, and team members.
- Provide ongoing leadership through regular meetings and one-on-ones.
- Initiate patient safety incident investigations and document timelines and action plans.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to support clinical documentation and submission requirements.
- Engage patients in problem-solving, offering health teaching and building rapport.
- Maintain knowledge and skills to provide safe, efficient, effective service by keeping abreast of changes in practice setting.
Requirements:
- Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and entitlement to practice without restrictions.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.
- Comprehensive patient health assessment skills and knowledge of community nursing practice.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
- Commitment to professional development in clinical practice.
