About the Role:

Hotel Arts is seeking a highly skilled Catering and Event Services Manager to join our team. This is a pivotal role that involves selling and overseeing all catering food, beverage, and room rental revenues within a specific market at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit and generate new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with event planners to coordinate catering needs, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
  • Manage all aspects of catering, including food and beverage, setup details, agendas, and event logistics to ensure client objectives are met.
  • Negotiate with clients on menu planning, beverage requirements, and other event specifics to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Confirm event details with clients and prepare necessary documentation, such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes.
  • Enforce Catering Agreements according to hotel policies, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors as needed to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Maintain pricing integrity and propose upscale menus for groups, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
  • Work closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up with clients to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

    Candidate Profile:

    • Proficiency in hotel sales platforms, such as Opera, to manage bookings and client relationships.
    • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships across departments and with clients.
    • 1-2 years of experience in hotel catering, events, meetings, or conference roles, with a proven track record of success.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage data and communicate effectively.
    • Comprehensive understanding of event setups, space functionalities, and operations to deliver exceptional experiences.
