Catering and Event Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering and Event Services Manager to join our team at Hotel Arts. As a key member of our sales and events team, you will be responsible for selling and overseeing all catering food, beverage, and room rental revenues within a specific market at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solicit and generate new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with event planners to coordinate catering needs and ensure seamless event execution
  • Manage all aspects of catering, including food and beverage, setup details, agendas, and event logistics
  • Negotiate with clients on menu planning, beverage requirements, and other event specifics
  • Confirm event details with clients and prepare necessary documentation, such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes
  • Enforce Catering Agreements according to hotel policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with outside vendors as needed to ensure high-quality service
  • Maintain pricing integrity and propose upscale menus for groups
  • Work closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional customer service
  • Conduct post-event follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
Candidate Profile:
  • Proficiency in hotel sales platforms, such as Opera
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships across departments
  • 1-2 years of experience in hotel catering, events, meetings, or conference roles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Comprehensive understanding of event setups, space functionalities, and operations

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and eligibility for bonuses upon achieving sales targets.
