Catering and Event Services Manager

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for food and beverage? Hotel Arts is seeking a dedicated Catering & Event Services Manager to oversee all catering food, beverage, and room rental revenues within a specific market at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit and generate new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with event planners to coordinate catering needs
  • Manage all aspects of catering, with a primary focus on food & beverage, including setup details, agendas, and event logistics to ensure client objectives are met
  • Negotiate with clients on menu planning, beverage requirements, and other event specifics
  • Confirm event details with clients and prepare necessary documentation such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes
  • Enforce Catering Agreements according to hotel policies
  • Coordinate with outside vendors as needed
  • Maintain pricing integrity and propose upscale menus for groups
  • Work closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution
  • Conduct post-event follow-up with clients

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficiency in hotel sales platforms like Opera
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships across departments
  • 1-2 years of experience in hotel catering, events, meetings, or conference roles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Comprehensive understanding of event setups, space functionalities, and operations

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and eligibility for bonuses upon achieving sales targets.
