We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering and Event Services Manager to join our team at Hotel Arts Group. As a key member of our sales and events team, you will be responsible for selling and overseeing all catering food, beverage, and room rental revenues within a specific market at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Business Development: Solicit and generate new business opportunities, collaborate with event planners to coordinate catering needs, and negotiate with clients on menu planning, beverage requirements, and other event specifics.
  2. Catering Operations: Manage all aspects of catering, including setup details, agendas, and event logistics to ensure client objectives are met.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Confirm event details with clients and prepare necessary documentation such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes.
  4. Vendor Management: Coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
  5. Event Execution: Work closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  6. Post-Event Follow-up: Conduct post-event follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Requirements
  1. Proficiency in Hotel Sales Platforms: Proficiency in hotel sales platforms like Opera.
  2. Availability: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  3. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships across departments.
  4. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in hotel catering, events, meetings, or conference roles.
  5. Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  6. Event Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of event setups, space functionalities, and operations.
