Job DescriptionAs a Restaurant Operations Manager at Yorkdale Cafe Ltd., you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cafe, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve overall service quality.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and scheduling staff.
- Balances cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance team performance.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that we have sufficient stock of ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Leading/instructing individuals, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
To succeed as a Restaurant Operations Manager at Yorkdale Cafe Ltd., you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of your work.
