Senior Wealth Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estate Planning Advisor to join our team at NBC. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and Investment Advisors with their estate planning needs.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Provide expert guidance and support to clients and Investment Advisors on estate planning matters, including succession, retirement, and taxation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Quebec region offices to support the region's Investment Advisors and clients in estate planning.
- Client Interviews: Conduct thorough client interviews to establish trust relationships and draft detailed estate planning recommendations tailored to each client's needs.
- Team Player: Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including financial and estate planners, and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
- Complex Case Management: Manage multiple complex cases with tight deadlines in a constantly evolving environment.
- Training and Development: Prepare and deliver training sessions on estate planning to Investment Advisors and identify business opportunities for all services and products offered by NBC.
- Staying Ahead: Stay up-to-date with new developments in the field to determine the directions to follow in continuous improvement.
- Business Solutions: Understand business issues and participate in the development of practical solutions.
- Professional Qualifications: Member of the Barreau or of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
- Experience: 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of estate planning concepts, including succession law, trusts, and administration of the property of others. Significant experience in an expert advisory role, ability to build strong professional relationships, and skills in simplifying complex information.
- Assets: Experience/mastery in taxation, knowledge of insurance strategies, and knowledge of wealth management.
