Senior Wealth Planning Specialist

As a Senior Estate Planning Advisor at National Bank Financial (NBF), you will play a key role in supporting clients and Investment Advisors (IAs) with their estate planning needs. This is a unique opportunity to provide expert guidance and advice to high-net-worth individuals, helping them achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive estate planning services to clients, including succession planning, retirement planning, and taxation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the region's IAs and clients in estate planning, conducting client interviews and establishing trust relationships.
- Draft detailed estate planning recommendations tailored to each client's needs, taking into account their financial situation, goals, and risk tolerance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investment advisors, financial planners, and tax specialists.
- Manage complex cases with tight deadlines, staying up-to-date with new developments in the field and adapting processes and methods to ensure continuous improvement.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions on estate planning to investment advisors, identifying business opportunities for NBF's services and products.
- Member of the Barreau or of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
- 10 years of relevant experience in estate planning, taxation, and wealth management.
- In-depth knowledge of estate planning concepts, including succession law, trusts, and administration of the property of others.
- Significant experience in an expert advisory role, with a strong ability to build professional relationships with various types of professionals.
- Skills in simplifying complex information and listening skills necessary for understanding clients' sensitive issues.
- Experience/mastery in taxation and knowledge of insurance strategies.
