About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Analyst to interact with internal and external stakeholders, upholding and demonstrating the OMERS vision and core mission. As a member of the PLPA team, you'll have a thorough understanding of defined benefit pension fundamentals and be responsible for resolving day-to-day complex and technical pension administration issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze inquiries to provide accurate direction and/or resolution
  • Offer innovative solutions to complex inquiries while ensuring compliance with Plan and Legislative rules
  • Manage member or potential beneficiary escalations through to resolution
  • Identify process, communication, and pension content gaps and make recommendations for improvements
  • Develop clear and well-written reports and supporting documentation for presentations to Senior Management

Qualifications

  • University Degree or equivalent with 3+ years relevant pension and/or policy experience
  • Knowledge of pension plan administration, plan design, and current pension legislation/regulations
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and related data, identify issues, and infer conclusions
