Pension Analyst Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Analyst to join our team at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. As a Pension Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that pension plans comply with legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze pension plan submissions to ensure compliance with the Pension Benefits Act and regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret pension plan applications to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
  • Communicate with plan sponsors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve compliance issues.
  • Provide recommendations to senior pension officers and managers on pension plan compliance matters.

Qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing pension plan texts and related documents.
  • Knowledge of pension legislation and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
