Regional Vice-President of Sales and Operations

Gentek, a leading manufacturer and distributor of exterior home improvement products, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Vice-President to lead our Western region (AB, BC, SK). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, operational excellence, and employee performance management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive growth beyond targets.
- Partner with customers to enhance relationships, leverage market connectivity, and resolve escalated issues.
- Access and leverage data to inform sales decisions and drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies related to managerial responsibilities.
- Manage branch operational procedures, data, and KPIs to maintain performance standards.
- Complete accurate time and attendance records and associated labour costs.
- Establish connectivity between branch goals and individual employee goals.
- Conduct meaningful and timely employee evaluations.
- Support OTR process with objective evaluations and employee development plans.
- Lead by example, projecting valued behaviors in all interactions with customers, suppliers, and employees.
- Analyze data and market intelligence to inform business decisions and present proposals for ideas or plans beyond authority.
- Experience in a management role, preferably in distribution and sales settings.
- Building products experience an asset, with a technical background.
- Financial acumen with a working knowledge of P&Ls.
- Post-secondary education, preferably in business or management.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, AS 400, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
