Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of physical activity.
    • Stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience
      • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
    • Language
      • Fluency in English.
    • Work Schedule
      • 32 to 40 hours per week.
