Job Description

Customer Service Associate

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a prompt, respectful, and courteous manner within a mailroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and log all incoming items accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Sort, deliver, and process mail and packages throughout the building.
  • Sort confidential documents and process them through an insertion machine.
  • Work quickly and accurately to meet daily volumes.
  • Print, sort, and insert documents, meeting daily volumes.
  • Ship various couriers (local, national, and international).
  • Handle time-sensitive material and shipping as required at an executive level.
  • Assist with other various requests from the executive team.
  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate level.
  • Operate a postage machine and electric pallet jack.
  • Fold and insert documents, sort and process mail.
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities as needed and required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed efficiently
  • Strong communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels of management and customers both written and verbally
  • Proficiency with commonly used Microsoft software programs
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task and lift up to 55lbs unassisted
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to interact with diverse people
