Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Gould Fasteners Limited.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work. The successful candidate will also be responsible for resolving work problems, providing technical advice, and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College/CEGEP education
  • Inventory control software experience
  • Purchasing software experience
  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software experience
  • MS Windows experience
Work Environment:

The Warehouse Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to handle heavy loads. The successful candidate will also be required to work under pressure and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
