Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at A-1 Cash and Carry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations
  • Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and shipping schedules
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Co-ordinate and assign work tasks to staff, ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and stored
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Work Environment:

The Warehouse Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and requiring attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g. business, logistics, supply chain management)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
