Patient Care Manager – CVH 5 Mental Health Leadership Position

Job Summary
Mackenzie Health seeks a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Manager to lead the CVH 5 Mental Health team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing the unit, as well as overseeing human and fiscal resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Program Director, Medical Director, and other allied health members to ensure high-quality services and care.
- Plan, implement, and integrate plans that align with the Medicine Program and the organization's vision and strategic directions.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellence in interpersonal, communication, coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for patients and staff, complying with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or other regulated health professional field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Nurse Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario or another regulated Health Professional College.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical frontline leadership experience in mental health, preferably.
- Demonstrated knowledge in clinical practice, systems analysis techniques, value analysis process, and continuous improvement principles and tools.
- Superior decision-making and organizational skills, with a strong patient and customer-focused philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty certification is an asset.
