Mackenzie Health seeks a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Manager to lead our Mental Health Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and directing the unit, as well as managing human and fiscal resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Program Director, Medical Director, and Educator to ensure high-quality services and care.
- Develop and implement plans that align with the Medicine Program and organizational vision.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or other regulated health professional field.
- Nurse Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario or another regulated Health Professional College.
- Minimum of 2-5 years clinical frontline leadership experience in mental health.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, mentoring, and team building skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to introduce and facilitate change.
- Superior decision-making and organizational skills.
- Commitment to professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty certification an asset.
