Client Support Specialist

Canada Life, a leading insurer in Canada, is seeking a Bilingual Senior Service Specialist Client Support to join its Continuum Financial Centre. As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional service to clients requiring assistance with their investment and insurance products.
Salary
The base salary for this position is between $43,800 - $72,900 annually. This represents the base salary only and does not include variable compensation components such as annual bonuses or commissions.
Job Description
This full-time role involves responding to client inquiries, resolving questions or concerns, and completing non-licensed services while delivering a professional client experience. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving client queries, preparing and processing insurance and investment requests, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence client loyalty and retention by providing consistent, accurate, and high-level service.
- Investigate, resolve, and respond to client non-licensable queries by researching further information and dealing directly with the client and partners where required.
- Prepare and process insurance and investment requests, documentation, and transactions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A College Diploma, University degree, or equivalent industry experience.
- Bilingualism (French, English) to answer calls from French and English-speaking customers across Canada.
- Proven experience in the financial insurance industry, Canadian banking, insurance, and/or financial channels.
- Proven experience in a customer service-related field.
- Knowledge of insurance products, service, mutual fund, and segregated investments, service.
- Strong ability to utilize professionalism and deliver high-level customer service.
- High level of attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy.
- Proven experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- CRM experience is an asset.
