Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Pho Restaurant Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment
    • Work under pressure
    • Stand for extended periods
    • Bend, crouch, kneel, and walk
    • Physically demanding
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills

Working Conditions
